Empowered Patients

Due to a lack of cultural competence and knowledge of best practices, many medical providers fail to adequately serve LGBTQ+ patients. As a result, many LGBTQ+ people avoid seeking medical care when necessary and those that do often receive a substandard quality of care.

Our patient empowerment workshops, materials, and services are intended to help the LGBTQ+ population interact effectively and assertively with their health care providers in order to achieve the best possible health outcomes.
